Volunteer Grant Writer

Healthy Aligned Living (HAL) is seeking an experienced Volunteer Grant Writer to help secure funding that supports our programs for at-risk youth, young adults, and families across Alberta and Ontario.

We're looking for someone who has previous experience researching and writing successful grant applications for charities or non-profit organizations. The ideal volunteer is organized, works independently, and enjoys turning ideas into funded programs that make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities include:

Researching grant opportunities from government, foundations, corporations, and community organizations.
Reviewing funding guidelines and eligibility requirements.
Preparing grant applications, letters of intent, and supporting documentation.
Assisting with project budgets and collecting information required for applications.
Tracking grant deadlines and funding opportunities.
Working with HAL's Executive Director to align funding opportunities with our programs and strategic priorities.
