Girl to Girl: Youth Empowerment Group

Girl to Girl: Young Women's Empowerment Group (YWEG) is a charitable organization registered under Alberta's Charitable Fund-raising Act. We address gaps in gender equality and work to bring awareness to human rights issues impacting women and children across the globe. Our team is developing the next generation of leaders by bringing Edmonton's youth together to create meaningful community projects. We also organize volunteer opportunities with local nonprofits for youth members to participate in. Our mission is to bring awareness to gender inequalities, empower youth, and give back to Edmonton communities. All Girl to Girl initiatives incorporate one or more of these core values.
