Group Leaders - Girl Guides - Airdrie

Airdrie, AB, T4A2K9 [map]
3-5 hours / weekly
Sept - June
Girl Guides of Canada is looking for enthusiastic local adults to join the Guide leaders for all age groups in Airdrie.

No experience necessary, all training provided, many resources available to help with program planning.

Successful applicants will complete the screening and onboarding process immediately and then complete self paced training with a local mentor.

Our Guide units meet in various locations on different evenings. We will work with your availability to find a good match.

We empower young girls and women to be everything they want to be, and as a volunteer, you will help make that happen! Our volunteers support girls as they build confidence, develop new skills and become leaders in their communities.

As part of a unit’s leadership team, you’ll facilitate fun and engaging program activities, like scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration, games and more.

Volunteers commit to 3 hours per week for the duration of the school year.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Volunteering with Girl Guides is:
Fun – fill your cup with laughter, smiles and happy chaos.
Rewarding – when you create a space for girls to just be, you’ll see their confidence grow week after week.
Life-changing – develop marketable skills such as communication, event planning and leadership
Unforgettable – meet some of your new favourite people and build unbreakable bonds
