Volunteer Coordinator - Edmonton

The Gal Senior Care Foundation is searching for a highly organized and motivated individual to help manage and recruit volunteers in the Edmonton area. Volunteers are the makeup of the organization. This role is essential to ensuring there are enough volunteers for all tasks and that they are adequately prepared. 

This role is ideal for individuals looking for a gratifying, remote and community focused role.


Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruiting volunteers in Edmonton and onboarding them 
- Represent the Foundation professionally at all times when recruiting volunteers
- Answer general questions about Foundation programs and initiatives, or refer them to someone with further answers
- Support awareness campaigns focused on senior care and wellness
-  Occasionally assist staff with event setup, coordination, and attendee engagement


Qualifications:
- Strong time management and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate demeanour
- Reliable to commit time weekly to the organization


Time Commitment:
- Flexible scheduling based on your own time during the week and the needs of the charity
