Presentation Volunteer - Edmonton

The Gal Senior Care Foundation is seeking motivated, enthusiastic and community minded volunteers to assist with presentation and outreach initiatives that support seniors in the Edmonton area. Presentation Volunteers are the face of the organization at community events, senior centres, partner organizations and more. The main goal is to deliver engaging presentations about our program, services and mission. Typically, presentation volunteers work in pairs, we have a curated presentation which is updated regularly as new types of fraud are discovered, you and your teammate will convey all the necessary details to prevent our Edmonton community from succumbing to these fraud tactics.

This role is ideal for individuals looking for a gratifying role, strong public speakers and community engagement. 


Responsibilities: 
- Assist in delivering presentations to community groups, senior centres, and partner organizations
- Represent the Foundation professionally at outreach events and information booths
- Answer general questions about Foundation programs and initiatives, or refer them to someone with further answers
- Support awareness campaigns focused on senior care and wellness
-  Assist staff with event setup, coordination, and attendee engagement


Qualifications: 
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups or willing to develop presentation skills
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate demeanour
- Reliable and able to attend scheduled presentations and events


Time Commitment: 
- Flexible scheduling based on event and presentation needs
- Opportunities may include weekdays, evenings, or occasional weekends
- Both ongoing and occasional volunteer opportunities available
