It's quite a walk from the parking lot to the Strathmore Stampede Grounds! Help us give participants a lift by transporting them via wagon (being pulled by a tractor of course!) at peak times from the parking lot to the Stampede Grounds and back again. Tractor Driver (People Mover) volunteer duties: • Be comfortable operating a tractor that’s pulling a wagon up to approximately 15 people • Drive from the North 40 parking lot by the baseball diamonds on the Strathmore Stampede Grounds, through the campground on a service road to the Festival Grounds entrance • In reverse, drive from the Festival Grounds entrance on the service road, through the campground and to the North 40 parking lot What to expect: • Work at peak pedestrian traffic times • No need to adhere to a pickup/drop off schedule but rather a continuous driving cycle • Use a planned one-way route • It’s a short 5–10-minute drive • Use designated pick up and drop off areas Please check the Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer website under the 'VOLUNTEER' tab for details, descriptions, and shift times.
