Through engaging workshops, mentorship, and hands-on programs, we create safe spaces where young people can build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self-worth. Future Paid Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and confident communicator to join our team as a School Outreach Coordinator. In this role, you will receive a list of schools and communities across Alberta—including First Nations, Métis, Inuit, and BIPOC communities—and your main responsibility will be to call and connect with schools, share information about our programs, and book our team to deliver workshops. This is an excellent role for someone who is comfortable speaking on the phone, loves building connections, and is highly organized. As our programs grow, this volunteer position will transition into a paid role. Key Responsibilities: - Call and email schools and community contacts to introduce our programs and secure workshop bookings. - Build relationships with educators, administrators, and community leaders. - Keep accurate records of all calls, responses, and confirmed bookings. - Follow up consistently with contacts to confirm details and scheduling. -Represent our organization in a friendly and professional manner. Skills and Qualifications: - Excellent verbal communication skills, especially phone etiquette and confidence in speaking. - Strong grammar and written communication for emails and follow-up messages. - Organized, detail-oriented, and able to track outreach efforts carefully. - Comfortable working independently with provided lists and resources. - Passion for education, youth empowerment, and serving diverse communities. - Experience with phone-based outreach, customer service, or scheduling is a plus. Details: Role Type: Volunteer (potential to become paid as programs expand). Location: Hybrid – work from home with occasional in-person meetings or events. Commitment: Approx. 5–10 hours per week to start. Support: Training, call scripts, and school/community lists will be provided.
