Casino Fundraiser Volunteers Needed - April 25-26, 2026

Join Edmonton Social Planning Council for one of our most important fundraising events of the year and help support vital community programs in Edmonton! We are looking for volunteers to assist with our casino fundraiser at Starlight Casino Edmonton, located inside West Edmonton Mall.

Casino fundraising events are a major source of support for our organization, and volunteers play a crucial role in making the event run smoothly. No prior experience is needed—training will be provided onsite.

Volunteer Roles
> Volunteers may be assigned one of the following support roles:
> Banker
> Cashier
> Chip Runner
> Count Room Staff
These are support roles only. Volunteers do not gamble or handle players’ winnings.

10AM-7PM (Banker)
10:30AM-7PM (Cashiers)
11:45AM-7PM (Cashiers)
10:30AM-7PM (Chip runners)
11:45AM-7PM (Chip runners)
6:45PM-3:345AM (Banker)
6:45PM-3:30AM (Cashiers)
6:45PM-3:15AM (Chip runners)
11PM-3:30AM (Count room staff)

Volunteer Requirements (AGLC & GAIN)
> Must be 18 years or older
> Bring valid government-issued photo ID
> Able to follow all casino and AGLC rules
> You are not required to volunteer for both days, however, you're more than welcome to
> Must not have been convicted of any crimes in the last 5 years
> No experience required — training will be provided
