Floor Hockey Program Assistant
Floor Hockey Program – Monday Evenings Join us for an exciting and inclusive Floor Hockey program at St. Francis Xavier Sports Centre! This program is designed to build fundamental hockey skills, encourage teamwork and sportsmanship, and provide a fun, active recreational experience for all participants. Group 1: Kids (Ages 8–13)5:00 – 6:30 PM Group 2: Youth (Ages 14–25)5:30 – 7:00 PM Sessions are led by an experienced hockey coach, supported by dedicated volunteers. Participants will work on skill development, learn the value of fair play and teamwork, and enjoy structured recreational games in a supportive environment. Program dates: March 16, 23, 30; April 13, 20; May 4, 11, 25, June 1, 8 We are looking for volunteers who are energetic, patient, and encouraging. This program is a great fit for someone who enjoys being active, likes working with children and youth, and is comfortable helping participants learn new skills at their own pace. Floor hockey experience is not required. Confidence in a gym setting, strong communication skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude are important. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an asset, but not required.
