Citizen Science Volunteer - Monitor Wildlife and Contribute to Conservation

Ongoing
As a local charity with a small staff team, Edmonton and Area Land Trust (EALT) relies on our dedicated volunteer team to steward and monitor our natural areas (called conservation lands). Citizen Scientist volunteers monitor wildlife and contribute to increased scientific knowledge of plant and animal species. Visiting our conservation lands with another trained partner, Citizen Scientists have an opportunity to conduct their surveys on a schedule that works for them, and contribute to conservation in meaningful ways.

Citizen Scientist volunteers can participate in Amphibian Monitoring, Bat Box Monitoring, and Field Ornithology on EALT lands.

Applications are NOT accepted through Volunteer Connector.
Please proceed to the EALT Volunteer Portal to submit an application.
