Burdock Bash at New Jubilee
Friday, July 24th 10:00 am - 2:00 pm Once per year, we typically help the landowners at New Jubilee address some of the weeds that are present in and around the old-growth forest on the property. Some Woolly Burdock has sprung up, and they could use some help addressing it. This land is not open to the public, so this is a limited chance to get to see the beautiful forest and help the ecosystem in return! Accessibility: * This event includes walking on uneven ground (including some hills) for roughly 4 km. * We will be removing plants using tree planting shovels in an attempt to dig out the root of each plant. * There are outhouse facilities at this land near where the vehicles will be parked.
