Bioblitz and Weeding Near Arnault Lake

Join us at our yet-to-be-announced site near Arnault Lake to reduce the number of weeds on the land! This property epitomizes the beauty of the ecosystems in the region, and has abundant habitat for many different species of wildlife.

Invasive plants on the property threaten the integrity of this habitat in previously disturbed areas, and we’d like your help to make the habitat the best it can be.

NOTE: This land is not yet open to the public, so please look for the location details in the Volunteer Portal listing as you sign up.

Accessibility:
* This event includes a lot of walking, over uneven ground including some potentially wet sections.
* We will be removing plants using hand tools, as well as by hand-pulling, and taking bags of flowering weeds back out with us.
* There are no outhouse facilities at this land.
