The CNIB Smartlife Store is looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to assist clients and support our Smartlife and technology coaches. What You’ll Do: Make phone calls for the Smartlife coach Greet and welcome clients at reception Assist clients in the Smartlife store and demonstrate products Notify the team if you are unable to attend a shift Boundaries: Do not make sales or accept payment Do not offer medical, treatment, or health-related advice Ideal Qualities: Trustworthy, patient, empathetic, and friendly Strong communication and phone skills Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently Interest in technology Willing to attend Smartlife training sessions Commitment: 1 shift per week, 4 hours Mondays preferred (12 PM – 4 PM) Minimum 6-month commitment Screening Requirements: Application and interview Orientation Two references Police record check Agreement to CNIB Code of Conduct Supervision: Smartlife coach and Volunteer Coordinator Three-month probation with ongoing support Additional Notes: This role combines reception duties with assisting in the Smartlife store
