The Youth Ambassador represents the Canadian Foundation for Development and Empowerment (CFDE) within the youth community. The role is intended for a motivated young person who can help CFDE connect with youth, promote programs, share opportunities, and provide feedback about youth interests and needs. The Youth Ambassador serves as a youth voice and outreach representative while helping increase awareness and participation in CFDE initiatives. Key Responsibilities Represent CFDE in a positive, respectful, and professional manner. Promote CFDE programs, activities, workshops, and youth opportunities. Share CFDE information with youth, schools, community groups, and relevant organizations. Encourage youth to participate in CFDE programs and events. Help identify youth interests, concerns, and community needs. Provide feedback to CFDE about barriers preventing youth from participating. Assist with youth outreach through approved social media posts, messages, and community connections. Attend scheduled meetings, orientation sessions, and assigned activities. Communicate regularly with the Executive Director or designated supervisor. Complete agreed-upon assignments within the expected timelines. Maintain confidentiality and follow CFDE policies and procedures. Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and accountability.
