Volunteer Coordinator

Recruitment & Onboarding:
Develop strategies to attract volunteers, create job descriptions, conduct interviews and screenings, and onboard new volunteers with orientation sessions to explain the organization's mission, values, and policies. 
Training & Placement:
Provide ongoing training and support to volunteers, and assign them to tasks and roles that match their skills, interests, and availability. 
Management & Supervision:
Coordinate volunteer schedules, manage volunteer databases and records, and offer continuous support and guidance to volunteers during their work. 
Communication & Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, fostering strong relationships to keep them engaged, valued, and loyal to the organization. 
Program Development:
Design and implement volunteer programs, including recognition initiatives like certificates or special events, to acknowledge contributions and encourage continued involvement.
