Fundraising & Donor Engagement Volunteer
The Fundraising & Donor Engagement Volunteer supports the Canadian Foundation for Development and Empowerment (CFDE) by helping identify funding opportunities, building relationships with supporters, and assisting with fundraising initiatives that sustain youth programs and community impact. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building partnerships, and helping grow a meaningful community organization. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Research potential donors, sponsors, and community supporters • Assist with outreach to businesses, organizations, and community partners • Help develop sponsorship opportunities for programs and initiatives • Support planning and coordination of fundraising campaigns • Assist in maintaining donor and sponsor records • Help identify grant opportunities or community funding sources • Collaborate with the leadership team on creative fundraising ideas • Help build and maintain positive relationships with supporters • Assist in preparing donor appreciation messages and communications • Promote CFDE’s mission and initiatives to potential supporters
