Role Overview:
The Promotional Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing and creating a variety of promotional materials for various time periods, including for the early bird, summer, and fall promotions. This role aims mainly to promote the school fundraiser program, although other programs such as the sponsorship program will also be considered. Graphic designs will be distributed in a variety of ways, including through some collaboration with the social media team as well through mailing physical copies to schools. Applicants must be in Grade 7 or above during the 2026 - 2027 school year. The role will begin in the spring and will continue until December, although the peak period will likely be during early fall/late summer.

Role timeline:
The role duration is from April 2026 to January 2027. The role is heavier in the early
spring/summer months and lighter in the later fall months.

Key Responsibilities:
● Design eye-catching graphics, infographics, and pamphlets for use in promotions
● Ensure content aligns with the fundraiser’s branding and mission.
● Brainstorm and come up with creative ideas for promotion materials
● Attend regular meetings to discuss plans and keep up to date with the rest of the team
● Take advice from the Advisory board, team members, and promotions manager when creating designs

Requirements:
● Understanding of graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe
● Ability to communicate efficiently in a team environment
● Applicants must be Canadian grade school students in grades 6-12 during the 2026-2027 school year
