Role Overview:
The Livestream Coordinator will be responsible for planning, setting up, and running
professional BSSF livestreams for participating schools, Student Leaders, and other fundraiser participants. The coordinator will use tools such as OBS to manage scenes, graphics, audio, video, screen sharing, and pre-recorded elements while helping organise each stream from planning through broadcast. Applicants must be in Grade 7 or above during the 2026 - 2027 school year. The role will last from October to December, with the opportunity to join next year’s team.

Responsibilities:
● Plan BSSF livestreams, including the run-of-show, topics, speakers, scripts, timing, and materials needed for each broadcast.
● Set up and operate livestream software such as OBS, including scenes, overlays, audio, cameras, screen sharing, videos, and other on-screen elements.
● Run technical rehearsals and test streams, checking audio, video, internet connection, equipment, and stream settings before going live.
● Ensure livestreams are professional, organised, and consistent with BSSF branding and messaging.
● Coordinate livestream logistics, including scheduling, locations, equipment, guest participation, and preparation of weekly stream materials.
● Work with Alex and other BSSF team members to prepare broadcasts, troubleshoot
issues during livestreams, and keep recordings and livestream assets organised.

Requirements:
● Basic familiarity with livestreaming software such as OBS, or a willingness to learn how to use it confidently.
● Ability to stay organised, communicate clearly, and coordinate people and materials before each livestream.
● Strong attention to detail, comfort troubleshooting technical issues, and ability to stay calm while a livestream is running.
