The Ben Stelter School Fundraiser is perfect for you! 10 Schools participated in our 2024 fundraiser, raising $74,000 for the Ben Stelter Centre for Proton Therapy and Neuroscience. This year, 40 Edmonton schools have already signed up for the fundraiser and we are ready to take this to the next level with YOUR help. Incentives: - Join and contribute to a passionate, growing and successful team. - Special reference letter written by Mike Stelter and Aariz Mawji - An unforgettable learning & leadership experience, guiding hundreds of students in this wonderful initiative **Application Deadline - July 12th** Role Description: Reports to: Zach Chia, Financial Director Fundraiser: Ben Stelter School Fundraiser (BSSF) (benstelterfoundation.com/school-fundraiser) Role Duration: September to December 2025 (peak season), with light onboarding/training in August Role Overview The Assistant Controller will play a vital role in tracking and entering donation data from participating schools during the 2025 Ben Stelter School Fundraiser. Reporting to the Financial Director, this team member will ensure all fundraising numbers are accurately documented into our central tracking spreadsheet. Their work will help power real-time visual updates, guide school communications, and keep the BSSF running smoothly. Key Responsibilities ● Data Entry: Input daily fundraising numbers from each school into the BSSF donation tracking spreadsheet, including both online and cash donations from schools. ● Accuracy & Integrity: Double-check figures for accuracy and consistency. Maintain clean, organized records to support financial transparency. ● Donation Form Monitoring: Assist in monitoring the donation submission inbox and spreadsheet, flagging missing updates or discrepancies for follow-up. ● Visual Data Prep: Help the Financial Director prepare basic charts and graphs using tools like Google Sheets and LivingCharts for weekly school updates.
