About Autism Today Autism Today is a nonprofit that provides resources, education, and community for autistic and neurodivergent individuals and their families. We are a volunteer powered organization that develops educational resources, publishes autism related books, and provides practical tools and digital content for families, educators, and professionals. Position Overview The Research Assistant will support the Autism Today Foundation by identifying, researching, and establishing connections with NGOs, health committees, service associations, and other organizations focused on autism support, with a particular focus on the United States and Canada. Key Responsibilities Conduct targeted research on organizations that provide services, resources, or advocacy for individuals with autism. Collect and organize information on autism-related initiatives, events, research studies, and service opportunities. Maintain an organized database of contacts and research findings for ongoing reference and outreach. Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data cleaning, data collection, management, and basic analysis. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to conduct thorough and targeted online research.
