Position Overview Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact through fundraising and creative campaigns? We are looking for a dedicated Crowd Funding Assistant with a background in fundraising and grant writing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help develop and implement effective crowd funding strategies, support grant proposal efforts, and help build long-term relationships with donors and supporters. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning and executing crowd funding campaigns across various platforms (e.g., GoFundMe, Kickstarter, CanadaHelps). Research and identify potential funding sources including grants, sponsorships, and donors. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create compelling fundraising content. Draft and edit grant proposals and fundraising materials. Monitor campaign performance, track metrics, and provide regular updates and reports. Engage with donors and supporters to nurture relationships and build trust. What We're Looking For Proven experience in crowd funding, fundraising, or grant writing (nonprofit experience is a plus). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Creative mindset with the ability to craft persuasive narratives and campaign messages. Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Familiarity with digital fundraising platforms and CRM tools is an asset.
