Bring your energy, creativity, and community spirit to the Kaleido Family Arts Festival! We’re seeking volunteers for a wide range of roles—from helping with kids’ activities, greeting guests, and setting up art installations to running sound gear, supporting artists, and serving food. Whether you love working with your hands, interacting with the public, or staying behind the scenes, we’ve got a spot for you. Volunteer Crews Include: Artisan Market – Support vendors and keep the market tidy Audio & Tech – Transport and set up sound gear (must lift 20 lbs) Balloon Crew – Inflate and tie balloons (hand strength/stamina required) Bartenders – Serve in the beer gardens (ProServe required) Concession Crew – Serve food and beverages at the festival ; provide friendly customer service and help maintain a clean area Family Fun Zone – Supervise children’s outdoor activities Fire Crew – Light/monitor fire pits and haul wood Fundraising – 50/50 Raffle & Donation Tubes – Engage patrons, handle sales or monitor donation stations Gallery Crew – Host and monitor the art gallery Green Team – Help keep the site clean and manage waste Info & Merch – Distribute programs, sell merch, answer questions Indoor Family Workshops – Support hosts and families Installation Crew – Oversee and explain art installations Kitchen Crew – Help prepare meals for volunteers and artists Lantern Crew – Set up lanterns for Friday parade and Saturday Night Pancake Breakfast (Sat AM) – Help cook and serve breakfast outdoors Performer Lounge – Tend to artist needs and lounge setup (must lift 20 lbs) Security – Monitor beer gardens, stages, roadblocks (18+ only) Signage Crew – Hang signs and sponsor banners Site Crew – Set up/take down site infrastructure (lift 20 lbs) Stage Management – Help bands and stage techs with changeovers Street Fun Crew – Engage patrons in playful activities Indigenous Village Crew – Host guests in our cultural village Tim Hortons Runners – Deliver refreshments to volunteer lounge (SUV or van required) Volunteer Check-In – Welcome and check in volunteers (basic computer skills needed) Volunteer Lounge Crew – Serve meals and tidy the space Volunteer Support Crew – Assist volunteers and keep lounge stocked Find your fit and help us make magic happen!
