Aquatic Biosphere Society of Canada

The Aquatic Biosphere Society of Canada (formerly Aquarium Society of Alberta) is behind the initiative to bring a public conservation, education and research facility to Edmonton. The project is focused on the protection and preservation of water and the biodiversity found in, on, and around aquatic ecosystems through education and awareness.

The Aquatic Biosphere Project is in the development stage and not yet a facility open to the public. Outreach programming to schools and groups are available and for more information please reach out to us on chat, by email or on our website. As a registered charity, the Society relies on donations and sponsors to help run the operations of these programs.
