BARTENDER OCTOBER 24,2026

We are looking for a friendly, responsible and energetic Volunteer Bartender to join us for our Seas the Night Fundraising Gala.

📅 Saturday, October 24, 2026
📍 Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre – Edmonton, Alberta
⏰ Volunteer Shift: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

🍹 VOLUNTEER ROLE

As one of our volunteer bartenders, you will help:

• Set up and organize the bar area
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Follow responsible liquor-service practices
• Check identification when required
• Monitor guests and avoid service to minors or guests who appear intoxicated
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe bar area
• Assist with bar clean-up at the end of the evening
• Help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our gala guests

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should be:

• 18 years of age or older
• Friendly, professional and comfortable interacting with guests
• Reliable and able to work the full scheduled shift
• Comfortable working in a busy event environment
• Able to follow event procedures and responsible liquor-service requirements
• Previous bartending, serving or event experience is an asset, but not necessarily required
• Valid Alberta ProServe certification is strongly preferred

ProServe training will be provided for selected volunteers who require certification for the event.
