The Alberta Senior Health Association (ASHA) is a student-led non-profit dedicated to improving the well-being of seniors across Edmonton. 

Our companionship program pairs volunteers with seniors living in long-term care and retirement communities. Volunteers visit in small groups to chat, play games, listen to stories, or simply offer friendly company.

We are recruiting for Strathcona Senior Place, with additional spots available at Queen Alexandra Lodge.

What You’ll Do
- Participate in weekly or bi-weekly weekend visits
- Talk with seniors, build relationships, and reduce social isolation
- Join in fun activities like board games, crafts, or storytelling
- Work alongside ASHA execs who supervise every visit

Who We're Looking For
- Gr.9 to Gr.12 students
- Friendly, patient, and reliable
- Able to commit to ongoing and consistent volunteering
- No experience needed
