Volunteer Opportunity: Help Fill Our Casino Fundraiser Shifts!

We’re so close to having our volunteer roster complete, just one more spot to go! These casino shifts are not only fun and easy to do, but they’re also one of the most impactful ways you can support native bee conservation in Alberta, all while gaining a unique experience.
Our casino fundraiser runs on 
Friday and Saturday, September 12 and 13 at Starlight Casino in Edmonton

We are looking to fill the role of Chip Runner
Shift time: 10:00 AM – 7:15 PM (Sept 12 only)
Count room staff: 11:30 PM - 3:30 AM

Your help really helps!

This fundraiser is one of ANBC’s most important events as it raises about $75,000 every two years to support native bee research, habitat projects, and education programs.

No experience is needed! Training is provided, professional staff will be on-site, and we’ll cover meals during your shift (travel costs can also be supported).

It’s a fun, social way to make a big difference for Alberta’s native bees!
