Creating an inviting ambience in our inpatient units, this volunteer role involves sharing live acoustic music with patients, visitors, and staff.
Each week, musicians will perform a 60 minute set of appropriate background music from a playlist they choose themselves. You'll need to bring your own instrument to the unit.

Current availability:

Tuesday 11am-12pm

Friday 1-2pm

Preferred instruments:

Acoustic guitar
Violin and other string instruments
Accordion
Other soft acoustic instruments as appropriate

Performers should be comfortable providing music in a range of moods and genres, such as classical, jazz, folk, pop, or film/television themes, whenever possible. You will be asked to audition for the volunteer coordinator prior to onboarding for the role.
