Event Volunteer- AdaptAbilities Annual Breakfast
AdaptAbilities is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our Annual Breakfast, a special event that brings together over 1,000 guests, including community leaders, families, partners, and supporters who believe in building a more inclusive community for people with disabilities. This event highlights the impact of AdaptAbilities programs and celebrates the power of connection, belonging, and community support. Volunteers play an important role in making this event a success. Tasks may include helping with event setup, welcoming and directing guests, supporting registration and seating, assisting guests with accessibility needs, and helping with event wind-down and cleanup. You can volunteer for setup the evening before the event or on the morning of the breakfast. Volunteer Shifts: Setup Night – May 26 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Help prepare the venue by setting up tables, materials, signage, and event spaces. Event Day – May 27 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM Assist with greeting guests, guiding seating, supporting event activities, and cleanup. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, support an important cause in the community, and be part of a meaningful event. No previous experience is required. Volunteers will receive guidance and support from the AdaptAbilities team.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Volunteers will gain valuable event and community engagement experience while supporting a meaningful cause. This opportunity allows volunteers to build practical skills in event coordination, teamwork, communication, and guest engagement in a large-scale community setting with over 1,000 attendees.
