CapitalCare Grandview Gardener ( resident visiting space)

Helping with the garden space will keep the gazebo space enjoyable for the residents, their visiting families and Friends and Volunteers who take the residents out to enjoy some sunshine and flowers. 
Some details of the volunteer job would be: watering, planting flowers, reviving plants, possibly trimming shrubs, spring/fall clean up. ( fundraising for new shrubs?)  This position may work along side of the recreation Therapist and the Maintenance team. Weekday is preferred for guidance but weekends can be worked into this volunteer opportunity.

Seasonal opportunity that can be changed during winter months if desired to assist with recreation, visiting etc.
Certification or Education Required
some knowledge of what it takes to maintain a flower garden or vegetable garden , about trees and shrubs is an asset.
