Ongoing weekly volunteering is preferred
Regular Volunteers are needed for the Grandview Gift Shoppe, known as "Hidden Treasures". (Similar Opportunity is available at CapitalCare Strathcona in Sherwood Park. ) The hours of operation are based on volunteer availability and generally from 10-1, 1-4 and 4- 7:30pm. Ideally our goal is to be open seven days a week. Various shifts are available, once a week regular commitment is preferred.

The Gift Shop Volunteer assists customers (Residents, Family members and Staff) with purchases, providing excellent customer service skills. Volunteers may assist the Coordinator of Volunteer Services with checking orders that come in and pricing new items. Duties may also include display and general dusting and cleaning in and around the Gift Shop. 
Volunteer responsibilities:
- Open and close store independently 
- Follow established process and take instruction 
- Customer Service 
- Patient with working and assisting elderly residents' patients and visitors. 
- Engaging visitors to increase sales. / Visiting with residents.
- Excellent with Cash and giving change. 

All funds raised with the Gift Shoppe contribute towards equipment and other quality of life items for the people who live within the center.

Open to 17 years of age and up.
Please be willing to contribute at least 50 hours overall.
