Outreach & Partnership Coordinator (International NGO)

The Awaken Foundation is a grassroots NGO based in Quito, Ecuador, working to uplift communities across the Amazon and coastal regions for the past nine years. Despite our significant impact, we continue to operate with limited resources. Our organization has no paid staff—every initiative is led by our passionate founder and CEO, supported by dedicated local professionals and international donors. 

As we enter a new phase of growth, our goal is to strengthen our organizational capacity and expand our reach. This is where you come in. We're inviting international volunteers to join our mission and become a vital part of the change we're creating. By volunteering with us, you won’t just contribute to meaningful projects—you’ll become part of a community that believes in equity, empowerment, and sustainable change.

Given our limited resources, we want to be transparent that volunteer support will also be limited. We deeply value individuals who bring initiative, creativity, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Volunteers who thrive with autonomy and a sense of purpose will find this experience especially rewarding.
