Delta Life Skills Society

Originally thought up by a small group of parents, the Delta Life Skills Society has continued to expand and thrive for more than 35 years! A made-in-Delta solution to bridge the long summer break, the program today looks very similar to how it did 35 years ago: a high staff-to-child ratio, the opportunity to continue learning and practicing life skills, and a chance to have some fun!

The parent volunteers on the Board work hard to ensure the program can run each year, providing participants daily structure and learning within the framework of fun outings and recreational activities. Recently, the Board has started an exciting expansion by starting to offer social nights, engaging our participants in more year round activities.
