The Friends of Strathcona Park is seeking a volunteer Board Director to support community outreach and engagement initiatives. This role helps build relationships with local communities, partner organizations, volunteers, and park users to increase awareness and support for the Friends of Strathcona Park and Strathcona Provincial Park. Responsibilities may include attending community events, promoting volunteer opportunities and programs, supporting partnerships, and helping foster meaningful connections that encourage stewardship, conservation, and appreciation of the park. The ideal candidate is outgoing, collaborative, and passionate about community building, outdoor recreation, and environmental stewardship.
