Lakeside Classic Race Volunteer | Apply by Sunday, August 2nd!
Join us for the inaugural Lakeside Classic, a 10km Race at Burnaby Lake Regional Park supporting Childhood Cancer Canada. We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help create a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for runners, spectators, and families. As a Race Day Volunteer, you'll play an important role in the success of the event. Volunteer opportunities include: - Race package pickup and registration - Course marshaling - Water station support - Start/finish line assistance - Medal distribution - Kids Race support - Festival and activity area assistance - Set-up and tear-down *Will be assigned 1 week prior to the event date. No previous experience is required. We'll provide a volunteer orientation, role-specific instructions, a volunteer T-shirt, a post-race pizza party, and the opportunity to be a part of the greatest race Burnaby Lake has ever seen!
