Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and proactive "Volunteer Community Engagement Specialist" to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with diaspora communities, organizing virtual and in-person events, and developing initiatives that promote engagement, awareness, and action. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is deeply connected to African diaspora issues and eager to make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Community Outreach: Engage with African diaspora communities globally to build awareness and participation in African Union Sixth Region Global initiatives.
- Event Coordination: Plan, promote, and execute virtual and in-person events, including webinars, workshops, and cultural exchanges.
- Content Development: Create compelling content for social media, newsletters, and other platforms to highlight community stories, achievements, and opportunities.
- Partnership Building: Collaborate with local and international organizations, influencers, and stakeholders to expand our network and impact.
- Feedback Collection: Gather insights from community members to inform program development and improve engagement strategies.
- Advocacy: Represent the organization at public forums, conferences, and meetings to advocate for diaspora inclusion in African development.
