The African Union Sixth Region Global (AU6RG) is a dynamic, diaspora-led initiative dedicated to bridging the gap between Africans on the continent and those in the diaspora. Our mission is to foster unity, collaboration, and cultural exchange through innovative digital media, advocacy, and community engagement. We believe in the power of storytelling to challenge perceptions, celebrate African heritage, and drive meaningful dialogue.

Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate Volunteer Content Creator to join our team and help produce engaging, thought-provoking content for our digital platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, Pinterest).. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, socially conscious, and eager to contribute to a mission that amplifies African voices globally. As a Volunteer Content Creator, you will develop short-form video content, written articles, and social media campaigns that highlight the experiences, challenges, and triumphs of Africans in the diaspora and on the continent.

This is an unpaid volunteer position, but it offers a unique opportunity to build your portfolio, expand your network, and make a tangible impact in the African diaspora community. Ideal candidate must be eager to learn and take on diverse roles with enthusiasm.


- Content Creation: Develop short-form videos (under 1 minute), articles, and social media posts that align with AU6RG’s mission and values.
- Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that challenge stereotypes, promote cultural understanding, and celebrate African identity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our team to brainstorm ideas, refine messaging, and ensure content resonates with our diverse audience.
- Research: Stay informed about current events, trends, and issues affecting Africans in the diaspora and on the continent.
- Engagement: Help grow our online community by creating content that encourages dialogue, participation, and action.
- Consistency: Commit to a weekly content schedule, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials.

Time Commitment
- Weekly: 15–20 hours (flexible, based on project needs).
- Duration: Initial commitment of 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
