Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative "Volunteer Social Media Manager" to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our social media presence ( Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube), creating engaging content, and building an online community that reflects the values and goals of the African Union Sixth Region Global. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause, connect with a global network, and develop your skills in digital communication and community engagement. Ideal candidate must be eager to learn and take on diverse roles with enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging, culturally relevant content for our social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube). Content should align with our mission and resonate with Africans in the diaspora and on the continent.
- Community Engagement: Foster meaningful interactions with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Build and nurtify a sense of community among our followers.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the team to create and implement a social media strategy that increases our reach, engagement, and impact.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote events, initiatives, and stories from the African diaspora.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports on key metrics. Use insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with volunteers, content creators, and partners to ensure a cohesive and dynamic online presence.

Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise in strategically leveraging and managing owned media channels is essential and a must-have.
- Passion for the Mission: A strong commitment to the empowerment of Africans in the diaspora and a desire to contribute to the African Union Sixth Region Global’s goals.
- Social Media Savvy: Experience managing social media accounts, preferably for non-profits, community organizations, or cultural initiatives. Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram,
