Event Help
Two youth event volunteers are sought to run the "fishing pond" activity on behalf of Cold Lake and Disrict FCSS and the Cold Lake Bully Free Committee at the Festival of Words.

Income Tax Clinic Volunteer help clients complete the paperwork required to access free income tax filing service.

The Emergency Reception Greeter may be the first person an evacuee interacts with when accessing help at the Reception Centre.

ESS Registration Worker Volunteers help evacuees complete the important paperwork that is used to access financial relief/emergency assistance and family re-unification.

Working under the direction of a supervisor, pet services volunteers maintain the safe, secure and healthy handling and housing of evacuee's domestic pets.

ESS recreation and child care volunteers provide care and recreation activities for children of evacuees.

Community Volunteer Income Tax Volunteers - income tax processors (filers)
Finance
Community Volunteer Income Tax Program tax processors (filers), electronically file clients' income tax returns using CRA issued software. Volunteers work off-site in their own homes/offices.

General Labour
Help a neighbour in need by volunteering to remove the snow and ice from their sidewalk, front steps, walkway and if possible, driveway.

Disaster Relief / Driving
ESS Transportation volunteers transport evacuees from the Emergency Reception Centre to emergency service locations, i.e. hotels, Energy Centre, laundromats, banks, food bank.

Emergency Social Services Volunteer: Runner
Customer Service / Disaster Relief / Event Help
ESS runner volunteers assist other Reception Centre functions with transporting paper and other small items within the Reception Centre.

Cooking / Disaster Relief / Event Help
Prepare and provide food and refreshments to evacuees and ESS personnel at the Reception Centre and maintain Food Safe Standards.

Customer Service / Disaster Relief
In the emergency Reception Centre, distribute on-site goods (e.g., blankets, comfort kits, clothing items, etc.) to evacuees and provide comfort foods for evacuees ( i.e. coffee/tea, pre-made snacks.)
