Become a Helping Hands Community Connection Builder Volunteer!

In this role you get to share about our impact and also be part of the impact!

Helping Hands has a goal to reach as many in Cochrane and West Rockyview County as possible who are needing help! We need to get the word out. To do this, we attend local events and Community Connection Builder volunteers tell visitors how they can get help and how they can give help.

We are looking for happy volunteers aged 15 and up (parent waiver and support required under 18) to greet visitors at our Helping Hands booth at the Cochrane Farmers Market at the SLS Centre. Shifts are available each Saturday from June 6th to October 6th.
The shifts are from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.

These volunteers will be trained and learn about Helping Hands mission, goals, and volunteer roles, so then can easily communicate the information to visitors!

Volunteers get to set up the booth with our tent, table, chairs and other items!

To sign up directly with Helping Hands and for more information about Helping Hands please visit www.helpinghandscochrane.ca
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
These volunteers get to work as part of a team, will get time outdoors, experience interacting with the public, gaining knowledge about Helping Hands, and a volunteer t-shirt!!
