Location: Cochrane, AB Commitment: Flexible (1-2 hour shifts, mornings, afternoons, or evenings) Join Helping Hands Society of Cochrane and Area in our mission to reduce food waste and strengthen food security in our community. >As a Food Rescue Volunteer, you’ll help recover good food and share it with neighbours through our Free Food Sheds and community partners. >You’ll be part of a team that’s making sure good food goes to people, not the landfill. >Most shifts are short, and you’ll often work alongside another volunteer. A vehicle and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. are helpful. All training is provided. >Helping Hands offers barrier-free support to anyone in need — and by volunteering, you help make that possible.
