Small Group Bible Study Leader

Position Summary
Ruth & Naomi’s Mission has been serving Chilliwack for over 20 years, walking with people on their journey out of homelessness, addiction, and trauma toward healing and hope. As a Christian faith-based organization, we seek volunteers who demonstrate care, compassion, and practical support.
Spiritual Leaders offer Christian faith support through small group Bible studies, Alpha-style table leadership, or one-on-one conversations in a chaplain-like capacity. Volunteers help guide participants as they explore faith, hope, and purpose.
Please note: Some participants may be experiencing mental health challenges. Staff will help determine appropriate matches and ensure safe, suitable participants.
Responsibilities
•	Lead small group Bible studies
•	Facilitate faith conversations with individuals or small groups
•	Encourage participants in their spiritual journey
•	Provide steady, respectful, Christ-centered guidance
•	Communicate with staff regarding pastoral care needs
Ideal Candidate
•	Mature in Christian faith and comfortable facilitating discussion
•	Patient, discerning, and comfortable leading conversations
•	Comfortable supporting individuals in difficult life stages
•	Willing to complete a Criminal Record Check
•	Supports the mission and values of Ruth & Naomi’s Mission
