The 9th Chilliwack Independent Film Festival (CIFF) is a 5 day event with screenings of Feature Films, Documentaries, and Short Films from across BC and the globe.

The festival is a celebration of the Arts in our community. A platform for diverse voices to be a heard, and emerging artists to develop.

We strive to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. As a volunteer, you contribute to the success and vibe of the festival. We are looking for 19+ volunteers* from all walks of life to bring this event to life. Regardless if you are film buff or not, we would love your help.

CIFF also hosts world class Industry Events with Talks, Panels, and Workshops run by Industry Professionals

*Due to the films not being rated for 19yrs or younger, we have look for Volunteers that are 19+.

Current Volunteer Opportunities
Cinema Greeter
Supervision
As attendees and filmmakers arrive at the Cinema, you will greet them with a smile and point them in the right direction. You will also hand out Festival Programs and potentially scan tickets.

Accepting Drink Tokens for alcoholic drinks at our events to attendees that at are 19yrs+. Serving it Right certification is required.
