STEM to Stability
STEM to Stability is an international nonprofit dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence, their children, and child-abuse survivors through STEM education, mentorship, digital literacy, technical training, and workforce development.
We believe that access to education, technology, and supportive communities can create pathways toward confidence, independence, and long-term stability. By combining STEM opportunities with mentorship and community support, we work to help individuals overcome barriers and pursue educational and career opportunities.
Our programs include STEM workshops and summer camps, tutoring, mentorship, digital literacy initiatives, educational resource distribution, care package drives, scholarships, community outreach, and workforce development activities. We also work with schools, nonprofits, community organizations, and industry partners to expand access to meaningful opportunities.
STEM to Stability is powered by volunteers who contribute their time, skills, creativity, and leadership. Volunteers can support our mission in many ways, including tutoring and mentoring, organizing events, conducting outreach, fundraising, creating educational resources, managing social media, graphic design, research, technology, translation, and chapter leadership.
We value empathy, integrity, collaboration, initiative, inclusivity, and a commitment to creating meaningful impact. We welcome volunteers with different backgrounds, experiences, and skill levels, and we believe everyone has something valuable to contribute.
Whether you are interested in working directly with students and communities or supporting our organization remotely, there are opportunities to make a difference.
Together, we are Building Stability Through STEM.
