Ignite the Fight Charity Golf Tournament
Arthritis Society Canada is seeking volunteers to support our Ignite the Fight Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (AST) at Granite Springs Golf Course in Halifax, NS. This one-day fundraising event brings our community together in support of people living with arthritis, and volunteers play a key role in ensuring its success. We are looking for eight dedicated volunteers to assist in the following areas: Registration and Guest Services: Welcome participants, assist with event check-in, answer questions, and support the continental breakfast and boxed lunch service. Putting Green Fundraiser: Engage with participants at the putting green to encourage donations and participation in a fun on-site challenge. Hole-in-One Spotters: Monitor designated holes on the course and serve as official witnesses for any hole-in-one attempts. General Event Support: Provide flexible assistance throughout the day, including supporting other volunteers during breaks, delivering lunches, moving equipment, and helping golfers as needed. What we provide: Continental breakfast and lunch for all volunteers (dietary needs will be accommodated). A supportive and engaging event environment. The chance to be part of a meaningful fundraiser that helps people living with arthritis. Requirements and expectations: Volunteers must be 18 years or older. At least two volunteer roles will involve standing, moving, or lifting moderate weight. A commitment of 4–8 hours on event day (scheduling can be flexible).
