Canadian Voices Against Racism

Canadian Voices Against Racism is a grassroots organization with volunteers working virtually, across Canada. We are building a database of police brutality and police killings in Canada as a means to advocate for deep structural change. Since a complete database does not currently exist, we believe our database has the potential to become a powerful tool to petition lawmakers to dismantle racist, discriminatory, and oppressive laws and practices that disproportionately target Black, Indigenous, and racialized communities.
