This volunteer position is a support role for our Income Tax Clinic. 

Greet income tax clients when they arrive at the church. Provide them with the form to be filled out, ask for ID if they are new clients, explain the form and answer any questions. 

You will be a top-notch verbal communicator and able to deal with a variety of people and personalities with patience, kindness and empathy. 

You must be patient and comfortable with repetition - you will be explaining the same information multiple times to different clients. 

This is an extremely popular service in Campbell River, and you must be prepared to be busy and assist lots of income tax clients during your shift.  

You will NOT be preparing income tax returns.

This position provides an important role in our income tax program. You will finish your shift knowing that you've taken stress away from clients who were more often than not anxious about taking the steps necessary to have their income tax filed.
