Scouts Canada - Campbell River

Scouts Canada is an Youth Outdoor Activity and Leadership program. Volunteers work in a shared leadership team to facilitate learning of both leadership and outdoor skills: for many of us that means learning new things right along with the youth. We camp, we hike, we teach the kids to do planning, risk assessments and to have fun in the outdoors. Scouts Canada's Mission is "to help develop well-rounded youth, better prepared for success in the world". Locally we have a vision of being able to give youth an outlet to learn and grow and experience activities that are not in front of a computer, tablet or phone.
