Wood's Homes

Wood’s Homes is a mental health centre that provides treatment and support to children, youth, young adults and families.

Wood’s Homes is based in Calgary (on three large campuses and in several neighbourhoods across the city) with locations in Lethbridge, Strathmore, Fort McMurray, Cold Lake, Lac La Biche and Grande Prairie. Our 600+ staff, foster parents, caregivers and hundreds of volunteers provide 40+ programs and services for 20,000 people every year.

Our services range from the least intrusive to live-in treatment services. Our programs fall under 6 pillars: In-Home Counselling; Therapeutic Campus Care; Foster Care + Parented Group Homes, Community Group Care + Specialized Group Care, Housing + Hub Services; and Learning Centres.

We celebrated 100 years of service in 2014. Our continuum of services includes specialized treatment, assessments, leading-edge counselling services, education and research. We believe in a family-centred philosophy and recognize all definitions of family.
