Youth Volunteers Needed for Summer Camps!

Youth are incredibly important to the success of WinSport's camps. We value the youth volunteer and leadership experience, and are seeking volunteers to help this summer.

Sport/Wilderness Camps (13+)
Mountain Biking Camps (14 +)
Hockey Camps (13+)
Ringette Camps (13+)

Spend a minimum of two weeks this summer outdoors, sharing your passion for the camp experience and helping children try new things. Volunteers can book the weeks that work best for their schedule (pending operational needs - there are limited number of volunteer shifts for each camp week - so apply as soon as possible!)

WinSport has a dynamic and innovative Youth Leadership Program, which includes training and hands on learning. All youth volunteers participate in Leadership Training and will receive a leadership certificate upon completion.

Additional Details & Skills Required
Minimum 13 years of age (14 for Mountain Bike Junior Instructor)
Enjoy working with kids
Must be able to commit to a minimum of two weeks in the summer (and attend all the camp days in a week)
Must be able to attend Junior Instructor Training (June 14th and 21st)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated maturity and ability to take initiative
Experience working with kids ages 4-12
Completion of a babysitting course is an asset
Certification or Education Required
Grades 7-12 (Minimum age is 13)
