Share your passion for Ringette and volunteer this summer!
Are you a youth (13 - 17 years) who is passionate about Ringette? Do you enjoy hanging out with kids and find excitement in encouraging others? Remember the first time you stepped on the ice in your ringette gear - the excitement and nervousness? As a Ringette Junior Instructor you will be creating a positive and encouraging environment for campers learning and developing their ringette skills. You will make an impact on the young ringette players and be a role model. You will spend a minimum of 2 hours on ice each day and the rest of the day off ice supporting various ringette drills and camp activities (mini golf etc.) Ringette Junior Instructors may also support Learn to Skate camp programming and may help in other camps, if they would like more volunteer hours outside of the two Ringette programming weeks this summer. WinSport has a dynamic and innovative Youth Leadership Program, which includes training and hands on learning. All youth volunteers are required to attend the Leadership Training and will receive a Leadership certificate upon completion. Visit www.winsportteam.ca for more information and to apply.
